This fun little crafty object is a three in one musical device and could also be related to a more cultural and spiritual means. It switches from a mini rain stick, drum, and musical shaker.
A brief backstory in making this is me recalling a time of my upbringing when I was introduced to a regular size rain stick. I fell in love with the sound of it and how much it either sounded like rain or just a magical swooshing sound. Also, the musical shaker aspect of this toy relates to my experience of being in church and or around the women of my time. Something that was so common to find within households or within the faith base of my community was the tambourine and even the maraca instrument was a common floating instrument of my childhood. So this this 3 in one devices connects to my own chilhood and cullture but it can be applied or desgined accustomedly.
